Praise the Lord everybody, we are living in a time where the world is searching for answers, and even Christians are looking to the hills and wondering “from whence cometh my help?” This should not be so for true believers. The word of God has taught us to read the signs of the times, and for those who know the Word, these are exciting times. To be able to see the Word of God come to life before our eyes is an amazing thing.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 24:6-10 King James Version (KJV)

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers’ places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Jesus was letting His disciples and us know that all these things will be happening in the last days and the last of the last days that we are in now. That may appear to be grim to some believers but verses 11-13 tell us 11 And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

We just need to endure, in faith, and the good news is we will not be in it alone because Jesus says that He will never leave us nor forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5) Jesus also tells us in John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The same strength that allowed Jesus to face and die on the cross, and that same power that raised Him from the dead, is alive in those who claim Jesus as their Lord and savior. Christians need to remember that our help comes from the Lord, The Lord who created the heavens and the earth is our help. The Word tells us “If God be for you who or what can be against you?” (Romans 8:31) Again, Jesus said we will have trouble in this world, But His Word also tells us in Psalm 34:19-21 (KJV) 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

Our prize, as Christians are not long lives here in the world, our prize comes after a successful life of faith and obedience through trial and tribulations leading to everlasting life with Christ in the kingdom of Heaven. God sent His son to suffer and die for us and expects us to do the same thing for His son. So,” count it all joy when you fall into diverse trials…” (James 1:2) God bless you all.
